Chocolate Chip Cookies

This recipe (adapted from the HomeCook Book) makes 12 Cookies:

125g Soft Butter

100g Granulated Sugar

70g Soft Brown Sugar

1 egg

A Capful of Vanilla Extract

150g Self Raising flour

100g Chocolate 🍫 (half Dark/half White)

2 capfuls of milk (not needed if you don’t have it)

1 teaspoon

1 baking tray

Greaseproof Paper

1 Chopping Board

1 knife

1 teaspoon

1 wirerack

1 wooden spoon

Oven gloves

— Set your oven to 180 or Gas Mark Five.

— Melt the butter on a low heat in a saucepan.

— Mix the two sugars (Graulated Sugar & Brown Sugar) in a bowl together.

— Add the melted butter from the saucepan to the sugars and mix it.

— Then add the egg with a capful of vanilla extract.

— Add the flour (this can be sived or not)

— Add two capfuls of milk to ease out the mixture (not necessarily though)

— Chop your two bars of chocolate on a chopping board then add to the mixture.

— Grease a tray and add the greaseproof paper

— Add a spoonful of mixture to a tray for each cookie.

— Put it in the oven for 10–12 minutes.

— Then leave the cookies out to cool on a wire rack.
